Professional Experience
Anne Calder joined the Miller Environmental, Inc. in September 2007. With 10 years of construction related work behind her, Anne came to MEI well prepared for the job set before her. MEI is proud to trust in Anne all of its compliance needs, including but not limiting to dealing with Cal OSHA, and South Coast AQMD. Complying with these agencies involves notifying when hazardous work is done, keeping current with all applicable permits, and handling all investigations. Not only is she in charge of compliance with state regulatory agencies, she also cooperates with Unions ensuring that Miller Environmental is in agreement with them by submitting required monthly paperwork. Since joining MEI Anne has streamlined this process, cutting the time needed to complete this paperwork to a fraction of what it used to be. She is also our first line of defense when dealing with all of our insurance claims, not limiting to all Workers Comp cases. Hand in hand, she requests and collects all vendor and company insurance certificates and she yearly organizes all insurance renewals. Anne is also in charge of collecting and distributing all vendor releases, and any other needed paperwork. A major portion of Anne's job is assisting in finding new work. She continually looks for new leads, finds opportunities, and keeps Miller Environmental pre-qualified with general contractors and government agencies. She assists in the bidding process by requesting and collecting bonds, and helps by putting together pertinent company reference paperwork.
